Study of a sculpture of Käthe Kollwitz by Gustav Seitz situated on the site of the house in Berlin where Käthe lived for more than 50 years.
I have tried to convey her strength of character against the backdrop of a very challenging life. I have also made reference to one of her important projects - "The Weavers".
